Soothing massage
Strong or gentle
The nurturing contact
of another human
Inspires the soul
Melts away
The shell of tension
That guards
The freedom of your spirit

How Do I Get a Massage?

1. Schedule an Appointment by calling 603.878.0081

Massage Hours

Thursday: 5:00PM-7:30PM
Friday: 7AM-7:30PM
Saturday: 7AM-4:30PM
Sunday: 7AM-4:00PM

I do my best to answer the phone. It is okay to call as early as 7AM and as late as 8PM. If you get the answering machine, please leave 3 possible date/times that you are available and I will call you back as soon as I can.

2. Preparing for Your Appointment

In the hour or so before you come:
  • It is better to eat a light snack rather than a heavy meal.
  • If possible, get out and take a short walk to warm and loosen your muscles.
  • Leave enough time to enjoy the drive here.
  • For your first appointment, try to arrive 5 minutes early to fill out a client health form.

3. Your Appointment

At the beginning of the appointment I will ask you about areas of pain or tension and what areas of you body you would like to focus on during the session.

For a Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage you will be lying on the massage table, covered by sheets. You will be asked to remove clothing, jewelry, and watches to relax the body from restriction and in order to apply oil to the skin. Throughout the massage, your modesty and comfort will be assured by exposing only areas being worked on.

To experience some of the other techniques, plan on scheduling a longer session.

Active Participation During a Massage

As a client, you may choose to actively participate during your massage by:
  • Allowing your mind to focus on your breath
  • Letting go of concerns outside of the massage
  • Letting thoughts float by and bringing your focus back to the breath
  • Bringing your awareness to the sensations of your body
  • Observe your sensations as they are without judging them
  • Accepting yourself as you are in this moment.
  • Allow your body to succomb to gravity, relaxing completely.

This active participation is the basis of inner awareness, and calming and steadying the mind, body, and spirit.

4. After your Appoinment

  • Take time to rest or take it easy.
  • Write in a journal - Massage can raise you inner awareness. Writing will help ground discoveries about yourself that have surfaced.
  • Drink water to help clear toxins out of your body, as your circulation is improved.
  • Take a warm salt bath, with epsom or sea salts, also to clear toxins.
